When my American husband and I moved to Switzerland in September of 2005, one of our first concerns became: how would we celebrate Thanksgiving!?


Thanksgiving is an American holiday that takes place the 4th Thursday in November, and is defined by traditional foods and gatherings of friends and family. It also happens to be MY FAVORITE HOLIDAY … primarily because I love Thanksgiving foods!!


Some of you may be new to Zurich, some of you may have lived here 20 years! But love of Thanksgiving stays strong, even when living overseas. (Maybe even ESPECIALLY when living overseas!)


For the fourth year I am offering:  Thanksgiving Dinner!

However this year we are doing things a bit differently — I’m bringing my food trailer to Thalwil and we are doing pick up!

You can also bring your friends or family and do a bit of Turkey Day crafting!! 


I’ll be serving Hot Mulled Cider, Fresh Doughnuts, and Pumpkin Muffins to Crafters!

Oven Roasted Turkey

Fresh Swiss Turkey, dry brined 12 hours, brushed with Butter, Herbs and Citrus, and served with Pan Gravy

Please specify White Meat, Dark Meat, or Mix of Both

Stuffed Squash (Wild rice, barley, cranberries, pecans or walnuts, fresh herbs, maple syrup and sweet potato, stuffed in an oven roasted Kombocha/Oranger Knirps squash)
